Accessible Hiking: Guided or independent hikes along marked and well-maintained trails. The climb to the crater rim takes between 15 and 25 minutes and includes sections with wooden stairs. Panoramic Viewpoints: Several renovated viewpoints offer views of the inner crater, the city of San Salvador, and even Lake Ilopango on clear days.
Interpretive Center: A small museum at the start of the trail explains the geological history of the volcano's last eruption in 1917.
Culinary Route: The access road to El Boquerón features dozens of cafes, restaurants serving traditional cuisine, private viewpoints, and commercial attractions such as colorful water slides.
Important Recommendations: Environmental Regulations: According to the Ministry of Environment (MARN), the entry of single-use plastics into protected natural areas is strictly prohibited.
